Maldives is called as “the tropical paradise” for reasons. Its beauty is none like other. Maldives is a tropical country with separated islands, which are separated by sea. Each each island is surrounded by stunning white sandy beaches. It is a wonderful experience to visit and explore the beauty of the islands.

The sea covers about 99% of the Maldives and it is where most attractive things lie in. The natural beauty lies in the Maldivian sea beats no other. There are over five thousand coral reefs and plenty of reef fish, corals, marine mammals, and so many other marine lives. And that is the reason people say, diving in Maldives is unforgettable.

Almost all the islands in Maldives are surrounded by beautiful pure white sandy beaches. Even if you have nothing else to do, I am sure you won’t get bored walking in the soft white sandy beaches and leaving your foot prints on.

When you look at an island from a distance, you can find green trees before anything else, and specially the coconut palms. That brings more beauty to the islands, plus you get amazing drink out of the coconut palms.Naladhu-Maldives~2.jpg

During my time in Maldives, I also had the opportunity to visit some of the local islands, such as Kihadoo, Donfanu, and others whose names I can no longer recall. These visits allowed me to interact with the local people and gain a understanding of the culture and traditions of Maldives.

All of these islands were located in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where I was employed. I was fortunate enough to work in world-class resorts such as Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences, The Nautilus Maldives, and sister properties Milaidhoo Maldives . Aside from my work, I also had the chance to visit a variety of other beautiful resorts, including Baros Maldives, Reethi Beach, Anathara Kihavah, Sonivafushi, Finolhu, and many more. Each of these resorts offered a unique and unforgettable experience, showcasing the best that Maldives has to offer.

The natural beauty, cultural richness, and hospitality of Maldives left a lasting impression on me. I am grateful for the opportunities I had to explore this amazing country and its diverse offerings, and I look forward to the day when I can return and experience it all again.

As someone who was based in the Baa Atoll, I frequently visited the capital of the atoll, Eydafushi, for shopping and other errands. This allowed me to get a feel for local life and culture, and to experience the island in a more intimate way.

One of my fondest memories from my time in Maldives was a visit to my friend Siwaz's house in Eydafushi during Ramadan. Siwaz was kind enough to invite me to join him for a traditional Maldivian meal, which was made from breadfruit. The meal was unlike anything I had ever tasted before, and it was a unique and special experience that I will always remember.

The hospitality and kindness of the people in Maldives made my time there truly unforgettable. I am grateful for the friends I made during my time in the country and for the experiences I had that allowed me to understand the culture and traditions of Maldives in a deeper way.

Another highlight of my time in Maldives was the close relationships I formed with my colleagues. Despite the fact that we met on an official basis, they quickly became like brothers to me. We spent many hours together at work and outside of work, and I valued their camaraderie and support.

Working in a foreign country can be challenging, but having supportive colleagues made the experience much more enjoyable. I am grateful for the connections I formed with my colleagues in Maldives and for the memories we made together.

In conclusion, my time in Maldives was truly unforgettable. From the stunning beauty of the country, to the warm and hospitable people, to the close relationships I formed with my colleagues, my experiences in Maldives will always hold a special place in my heart. I am grateful
